Last month’s yard sale at Chilmark Chocolates, hosted by former employees of the now-closed candy maker and other members of the Vineyard Independence Project, was so successful that VIP is holding another one Oct. 3.
Taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the sale will include hard-to-find Chilmark Chocolates mugs, Teamwork and VIP T-shirts, original artwork and more—but no chocolate, according to an announcement for the event.
Proceeds from the yard sale will benefit VIP, whose members are Islanders with disabilities, their families and friends. More information about the group is posted at vipmv.org.
