A forum to raise public awareness about the spread of Covid-19 on Martha’s Vineyard has been scheduled for Monday, April 12 at 7 p.m.
The forum, which will focus on vigilance, includes health experts from Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, the Island boards of health, Martha’s Vineyard Community Services and Island Health Care, as well as other partners. There will also be a question and answer period, as well as a run-down of available resources, ranging from assistance for those in quarantine to information on the vaccine.
The forum is part one of a broader conversation series hosted by the Community Ambassador Partnership and other partner organizations regarding health, safety and the Covid-19 vaccine as the Island experiences a recent surge in Covid-19 cases.
Closed captions and live Portuguese interpretation will be provided.
The forum can be accessed through Zoom or a Facebook livestream. The webinar ID is 981 9291 1455. The passcode is 782725.
All are encouraged to attend.
