New Restaurants And Shops In Edgartown For Summer 2021 On Martha’s Vineyard – Right Fork Dine Out
Many of us were so sad when we heard that Right Fork Diner was closing in Katama. It was a tradition for so many when visiting the Vineyard. Though not the same space, you will find a lot of the same foods and flavors at Right Fork Downtown. Located next to The Newes From America Pub, you can get Right Fork food to go, including sushi! Our office has already been there more times than we would like to admit. It’s a great addition to the food scene in Edgartown
New Restaurants And Shops In Edgartown For Summer 2021 On Martha’s Vineyard – Katama Kitchen
The Katama Kitchen will be opening soon in the location that once housed the Right Fork Diner. The owners of Dos Mas and Taco MV have taken on this great restaurant. We can’t wait to see what they do for food and with the space. More info to come.

Kin is a wonderful new store opened by photographer L.A. Brown and her niece, Garett Brown (owner of Rooey Knots) in April next to the Kelley House (where Edgar used to be). Filled with Island art and locally made items, this beautiful shop will have you stopping by again and again. There is always something new to discover here.

I sat down with the creator of Vaalbara, Emily Prescott, at the Black Dog Tavern back in 2014 to talk about Vaalbara, which was a young company back then. Fast forward to 2021 and Emily has a stunning store in Edgartown, where Jack Wills was. It’s a beautiful shop, and with strong ties to the Island, she is really making her mark with her curated collection of apparel and home goods that complement her Vaalbara bags. It was nice to pop into Rochelle’s, located on Main Street where Vintage Jewelry once was, and actually meet Rochelle herself. Rochelle LaRue Gallo was in the shop helping customers. What started as small boutique has grown into now five locations, including the Vineyard. The key to Rochelle’s success? Her business approach. Her stores are all about fashion and personal stying. It’s about the customer interaction.

Rachel Soknic of Botanical Beauty & Co., opened her own beautiful boutique spa on North Summer Street. When you walk though the doors, you feel a little lighter, and happier. Since everyone’s skin is different, so are the treatments that will be most beneficial to their skin. Founded in 2005 in Honduras, Central America, Rodolfo Lugo Jewels opens its doors for the first time in USA on Martha’s Vineyard. The jewelry store is across from Botanical Beauty on North Summer Street. At Lugo, you will find unique statement jewelry made with precious metals and stones.
New Restaurants And Shops In Edgartown For Summer 2021 On Martha’s Vineyard – 19 Prime Cast Iron Steakhouse
For the 2021 season, 19 Prime will join forces with its sister restaurant, 19 Raw Oyster Bar, to serve the best of both land and sea including high end seafood and fresh cuts of prime, dry aged meats. You can get incredible seafood and meat all in one place! Located where Isola was, there is a whole new area for seating and a new bar too. Have a large party? Their private party room is pretty fantastic.
New Restaurants And Shops In Edgartown For Summer 2021 On Martha’s Vineyard – Black Dog
The Black Dog has expanded its Edgartown shop. There is a whole new way to shop. The Black Dog has opened its shop where Santander Bank once was and has been connected to its previous location next to The Wharf, which now is where the women’s merchandise can be found. There are lots of cute Black Dog items in this location.
As we come out of the grasp of the pandemic, it feels great to see so many new things happening. The human spirit is one of hope and growth. We bet there will be more great things to come to Edgartown this Summer, like the Morning Glory Food Truck – stay tuned for that story!
