Introducing the Island’s newest spot for tea, coffee, and light bites – Tansy Tea & Coffee. Located at the Tisbury Market Place, this sweet little cafe is one of the chicest spots to visit on the Island. It’s easy to imagine yourself in one of the stylish chairs here. Tansy Tea & Coffee By Juice By the Sea In Vineyard Haven
Owner Andrea Savoy of Juice By the Sea, a vegan luncheonette in Oak Bluffs, has created a beautiful cafe right in the heart of the Tisbury Market Place. The space is light and airy and full of fun design touches and of course great vegan finds to take for your home.
Tansy Tea & Coffee – Tea
Let’s talk tea, Tansy has a wide variety to choose from, over 20 +. From traditional to exotic, there is a tea her for you! There will also be special coffees. Though originally a coffee drinker, Andrea has taken the time to learn about the health benefits of drinking tea, and she has also experienced the benefits herself.
Explore and enjoy teas at Tansy – Andrea and her team are happy to help you! Be sure to check out their tea lattes, all of which sound really good – even for this non-tea drinkers. The Coconut Chamomile Latte sounds like it’s right up my alley – chamomile, coconut cream, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla and cardamom. These chilly mornings are perfect for a drink like this!
Tansy Tea & Coffee – Coffee
Not a tea fan? Not to worry! Tansy offers an assortment of coffee options and don’t forget to add an adaptogen to your coffee beverage. What’s that? Adaptogens are typically herbs that help nourish and strengthen systems of the body.
Tansy Tea & Coffee – Smoothies, Breakfast Bites & More
In addition tea and coffee options, there are also delicious smoothies. The smoothies are chocked full of healthy ingredients and creative combinations. I got the Pina Verde when I stopped by – pineapple, mango, spinach, Moringa (an adaptogen that has a number of health benefits), lemon ginger and mint. Not only was it beautiful but it was delicious too! There is something so nice about a really good smoothie!
Looking for something more substantial than a smoothie? Tansy has light bites for breakfast and lunch. Talk about colorful, healthy, delicious food – it’s all here!
How about the most stunning yogurt presentation ever – Tansy’s Fresh Papaya Boats with almond yogurt and berries. I bet you feel so great about your food after eating this, and talk about a meal for the gram!!
I really like the Tansy Toast. It has vegan cream cheese, yellow tomato. micro greens, olive oil, hemp seeds and salt and pepper. It’s light and refreshing and you can even add avocado to it! It’s delicious and probably one of the healthiest things I have eaten all season!
Tansy also offers fresh baked vegan bagels that you can add toppings to, pastries, cookies, and so much more. There are lunch options as well.
It’s so nice to have a spot that offers healthy alternatives for takeaway options. However, it is also so nice to enjoy your beverages and Tansy bites in this attractive space.
Be sure to visit Tansy to enjoy a healthy and tasty experience. Tansy is open Monday – Saturday, 8:00a.m. – 3:00 p.m., closed Sundays. Oh and an added bonus is that there is parking at Tansy!
