Great news foodies! The Food Truck, Josh Aronie’s beloved mobile foodie truck, is back in action, and I think The Food Truck has found a home to call its own for years to come!
You can find The Food Truck at the YMCA Ice Arena for lunch, Monday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thinking it’s an interesting location? Well if you think about it, it’s one that makes great sense! The truck is centrally located and there is parking here during lunch. Also, Josh has taken over The Puck Stop which is the food shop in the ice arena. He serves up delicious bites for those using the ice arena. I know first hand how much kids and families like his food. We get the chicken fingers and fries quite often.
So, it’s The Food Truck by day, and The Puck Stop by late afternoon, evenings and weekends, depending on the rink schedule. These new additions have been really well received.
The Food Truck
You can enjoy the classics you have come to know and love. The Chicken + Bacon Sandwich, the TFT Flat Top Burger, those Lemon Rosemary Fries and more including the all new Smoked BBQ Brisket Sandwich. Since I have had everything on the menu, I had to get the new BBQ sandwich, and it did not disappoint.
The new sandwich has smoked beef brisket, tangy red cabbage slaw, salt + vinegar chips (yes that’s right), pickles, and American Cheese on a toasted brioche. Be prepared to be wowed! I think I may even like it better than the burger. It’s scrumptious!
Service is great! When I went, I was greeted by Becky, she is Josh’s partner. Becky has the best smile and is so friendly. She and Josh have been having a great time working together and getting the food truck back out to the community.
A nice surprise – when I went to say hi to Josh in the truck, Chef Jimmy Alvarado from Tiger Hawk was in the kitchen helping out! What a dynamic duo! Keep an eye out for Tiger Hawk pop-ups and perhaps even a food truck takeover!

Pro Tip: You can get a side of fries with a sandwich for only $2.50! Also, the cookies are really good too!
