Gloriously goofy (per a New York Times review), London’s West End hit “Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience — A Parody by Dan and Jeff ” returns to Boston in June. The show is coming off of several successful North American tours, including more than 500 performances at Bally’s in Las Vegas and more than 500 shows off-Broadway in New York City, according to Starvox Touring and Potted Productions.
Created by two-time Olivier Award–nominated BBC Television actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, “Potted Potter” will cast a spell over the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre for a show to delight muggles, witches, and wizards of all ages. The production brings laughter and amazement, as a critically acclaimed comedic rendition of all seven Harry Potter books within 70 hilarious minutes. The cleverly curated show includes all of your favorite characters, perfect Potter props, and even a live Quidditch match.
