We are delighted to report that torbi and white girl Alice has found her forever home where she will be showered with the love she deserves. Congratulations Alice, you will be missed around here.
Our featured pet this week is Buddy, a seven-year-old, black labrador retriever with a wonderful temperament. This is a happy dog: he’s neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and ready to go. He has no problem sharing his home with other dogs but cats, as far as he’s concerned, are not welcome. Buddy hasn’t arrived at the shelter yet so if you’d like to meet him, please give us to call to set up a date.
Snort the 13-year-old, tri-color (calico) Persian with one brown and one golden eye is still available. She is very sweet, gentle and affectionate and still enjoys playtime. And she has the softest coat. She has lived with both dogs and cats but would probably be happiest as an only pet.
We also have Peter and Teddy, six-month-old, black, male rabbits. These boys are hand raised, litter-box trained and very friendly. Peter even enjoys being held. And as a bonus they’re both indoor-outdoor. Any rabbit lovers out there that can provide homes for these boys?
For new puppy owners, we will be hosting a six-week puppy class with Jeremy Jones beginning on Sunday, May 21 at 9:30 a.m. The cost for the six-week session is $240. Class size is limited to 10. Contact the shelter for more information.

Just give us a call during regular shelter hours.
