Martha’s Vineyard Bank Charitable Foundation is now accepting nominations for its annual Community Impact Grants. Nominations will be open through March 18 at community.mv.bank.
Eligible organizations are invited to submit an essay of 500 to 1,000 words, describing how their organization made a significant impact on the community in 2023. A photo may be submitted but is not required.
Four awards will be made, with two Vineyard-based nonprofits to be chosen and awarded $5,000 each. Local nonprofits may nominate themselves and then from March 25 through April 17 community members will have the opportunity to vote for the nonprofit they believe made the most significant impact last year. Award winners will be announced on April 19.
