The Yard’s Jesse Keller Jason, longtime director of Island programs and education, and Holly Jones, director of artists services and associate producer, are leaving the organization, according to an announcement from the Chilmark-based performance arts nonprofit.
Over her 12 years with the Yard, Ms. Keller Jason expanded community engagement, creating the Making It curriculum program with local schools and developing dance activities for seniors and people with disabilities. Last Halloween, she collaborated with Abby Bender of Built on Stilts for a multi-arts fantasia at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, titled (Un)Exquisite Corpse.
Ms. Keller Jason will remain involved with this spring’s Dance Education Laboratory virtual workshops, according to the announcement.
Ms. Jones is, who has been with the Yard since 2012, is pursuing other opportunities, including completing a masters in nonprofit leadership from UPenn’s School of Social Policy & Practice, according to the announcement.
