Lunch at Farm Neck Cafe is Definitely My Cup of “Tee” On Martha’s Vineyard – Al Fresco Dining Fun
Farm Neck Cafe has gone through some significant changes including the expansion of their outdoor patio for the cafe. I lucked out for weather when I went with my friend Leah. It was mid-70’s and sunny – the perfect day to be at Farm Neck, lunching on the patio, watching the golfers play in the background.
The menu had lots of lunch options – burgers, lots of sandwiches, apps, fun sides, a great selection of salads and more. Though I really wanted the Tuna Melt with Truffle Fries, I needed to get a salad. It was just so warm and sunny out – I needed something cool and refreshing.
Leah and I both got the Power Grain Bowl topped with chicken. This dish has farro, baby kale, blueberries, avocado, tomato, roasted sweet potatoes, all tossed in a sherry vinaigrette. It was just what we wanted for such a sunny day to accompany our Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc.
The Chef, Brian Counihan, has created a menu that offers elevated lunch fare. Now that Summer is here, you can also get breakfast and dinner at Farm Neck Cafe. I want to go back for both meals. For breakfast, I would love the Mushroom Omelet – served with Farm Neck hash browns,
roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions, truffle oil, chives, and for dinner, the Hong Kong Style Street Noodles sound delicious – Stir-Fry Veggies, Sweet Soy, Sesame, Peanuts, Scallions, you can add a protein as well.
Lunch at Farm Neck Cafe is Definitely My Cup of “Tee” On Martha’s Vineyard – The Cafe Experience
The patio at Farm Neck Cafe is just the best place. The sun was shining, there were golfers teeing off and driving by in golf carts smiling from ear to ear, there was laughter all around us, and fun music in the background on the spacious patio.
Our service was delightful, our food delicious and I found it easy to relax and really enjoy the meal. The new cafe manager, Chris Lapointe, and the Chef, Brian Counihan, and the rest of the team have really worked to create a unique dining experience.
With breakfast, lunch and dinner available and parking too, this is sure to become one of my favorite spots this Summer. Oh and you can even make a reservation or get takeout! There are so many good things about Farm Neck Cafe!
Watching the golfers, I even thought to myself that I should golf. They were having so much fun! Their joy was definitely helping set the mood! Well, as for the golf, maybe my husband would be better suited. I am not the most patient person and my hand-eye coordination is not the best. However, I am a great golf cart driver, and I love the great outdoors!
Farm Neck Cafe’s Summer hours are May 28th – September 7th: Breakfast Daily: 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Café Lunch Daily: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Pub Menu Daily: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Dinner: Tuesday – Sun, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The Cafe is open through November 28th with reduced hours and menus.
Also, if you are a golf fan, be sure to check out Farm Neck Golf Club and their pro shop. The course is open to the public, and it is one of the best on the East Coast, well so I am told. And we know a lot of celebrities play there.
