Three people were transported to the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital with minor injuries following a rollover accident at the corner of Barnes and West Tisbury Roads Monday afternoon, Edgartown police confirmed.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash, a car and a pickup truck, according to police. The accident caused backups in both directions on West Tisbury Road and on Barnes Road while police, fire and and EMS responded.
The accident occurred late Monday afternoon.
Police said the cause of the crash remained under investigation.
