Camilla Fales de Bragança and Marco Lorenzo Hartmann were married on Nov. 4 at an outdoor ceremony at the Mill Reef Club on the Island of Antigua, W.I.
Gregory Green, who is married to Camilla’s cousin Elise Hillman Green of Chilmark and Greenwich, Conn., officiated at the ceremony.
The bride was attended by her maid of honor, sister Annabel de Bragança of Seattle, and seven bridesmaids including Ridgely and Chandler Green, daughters of Elise and Greg. Her brother Miguel de Bragança, brother-in-law Andrea Papi, and cousins Hartwell and Harrison Green served as ushers.
Camilla is the daughter of Barbara (Suki) Fales de Bragança and Miguel de Bragança of Boston and West Tisbury.
Camilla was born at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital and has spent at least part of every summer since at Windy Hill, the house her maternal great-grandparents built on Old County Road in West Tisbury. Next door lived her maternal grandmother Barbara (Bunny) Foote Fales, whom she visited nearly every day when on-Island. Through that side of her family, her Vineyard roots go back 12 generations.
The bride works in strategy and operations at BetterUp, a San Francisco-based leadership coaching platform. She graduated from St. George’s School in Newport, R.I. and earned her bachelor’s degree cum laude from George Washington University. In 2021, She received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.
Marco, originally from Winterthur, Switzerland, is a consultant with McKinsey & Company, based in their San Francisco office. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in interdisciplinary sciences from ETH in Zurich and holds an MBA and a master’s in design innovation from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business and McCormick School of Engineering, respectively. Upon graduation from Kellogg, he was presented with the Beta Gamma Sigma Award for being among the top of his class.
Marco is the son of the late Robert and Annamaria Hartmann of Altendorf, Switzerland and Sicily, Italy.
The couple met in 2019 while studying at Kellogg. They plan to honeymoon in southeast Asia in 2024.
