Candidates for office in Tisbury have filed their nomination papers for the town election in June, with contested races for school committee and constable but no contenders for seats on the board of assessors and the finance and advisory committee.
Select board member Roy Cutrer is running unopposed for a second three-year term on the board, which he currently chairs.
Amy Houghton is seeking re-election to the school committee, which she currently chairs, in a race against Lora Ksieniewicz, who is an alternate member of the town planning board.
Tisbury constable Mark Campos is also running for re-election, opposed by David Kann.
David Phelan is running unopposed for the planning board seat currently held by Cheryl Doble, who is not seeking re-election.
The finance and advisory committee has three three-year openings and one one-year opening, with candidate Russell Hartenstine seeking the shorter term and incumbents Nancy Gilfoy and Allan Rogers running for two of the three-year seats.
Nobody has filed nomination papers for the board of assessors, which has one three-year opening with the resignation of member Fala Freeman.
Election day in Tisbury is June 11, two weeks after the annual town meeting at the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center in Oak Bluffs.
